20 December, 2007 The days are shorter now which means less daylight to see the sights in the late afternoon. Be sure to schedule at least 3-4 days in advance so you can send your check to nail it down.
Suggestions for best times in order of best first: Mornings before noon-calm, smooth, quiet. Late afternoon 4-6 pm but early enough for daylight. Weekends-OK but much more crowded on the water. Nighttime 6-8 pm-often cooler, but romantic.
